Poor Campsite
When we arrived at check in I was told there were no more 30 amp slots. We had a reservation for about a month. One spot was found for us that was half mud and half rock with ruts. I wasn't very level. It was near the entrance so we heard all the highway noise. There were trains too. Because we were by the road we decided to walk the campsite. All the camper and evening staff were very nice. I did notice several 30 amp slots empty that would have put us near everyone else in the campground.
Will never go back. Big ruts in entrance and exit road. They had a pile of rocks and a small tractor so not sure why the roads and sites were so bad.
What a dump
The sraff is very friendly, but the place is certainly not worth the $50+ overnight fee. Will never stay there again.
Out in the boonies
Although this is the Memphis KOA, it is out in the boonies. There is a tricky exit getting off the expressway. You can see the park from the interstate but it's complex getting there. We were in a site near the road and heard a lot of road noise. There was a decent breakfast, but only one waffle maker and about 6 people waiting for food, so if you are in a hurry, it's not the place to go to eat.
