Howard Miller steelhead park is great
This is a great place. Scenic open place. There are trails to walk and the Eagles are so majestic! The camp hosts are so nice and helpful!!!
Howard Miller Steehead Park
The first time we went to Howard Miller we went because the guides for the eagle float trip we were on suggested it... it turned out to be one of the best parks we have been to! We stayed two nights and the first night was cold and a little wet but the next day it started to snow and made our eagle trip un workable which was disappointing. We stayed that night and woke up to a foot of snow! it was great because our camper was still pretty new for us and we discovered it really was an all season camper, which was a great relief. We have been back several times and we always enjoy our time there. The park is clean, well maintained and all the sites are wonderful for all types of rigs, we are usually the smallest there.
There are off season rates ($10 off regular rates) which really makes this place great for all seasons! Normal rate for 30 amp site is $26 per night with electric and water with a dump station at the entrance.
We did have one problem, which is I suppose to be expected in nature and that is we seem to have a critter that loves to eat our insulation and wires on the truck!
