My Park

I would just like to address the slams "Ronnie H" posted. I'm pretty sure I know who you are. #1. The speed limit and stop signs are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests. If you aren't responsible enough to obey the rules, then the other signs are for you. 99% of my folks get a kick out of the signs. I'm trying to keep a safe environment for everyone - their property and pets. People speeding and not stopping is a hazard. #2 My son does not have "sticky fingers". I suggest you find out the whole story before you pass judgement. The camper in question came out at me screaming in answer to my question of what was going on. She told me they would not listen to me or obey my directives. Therefore, they were invited to leave the premises - which they did. I don't put up with riff-raff; I don't cotton to being disregarded; nor the park rules being violated; nor folks telling me what they are or are not going to do in my park. My sons and I are doing our best to run this place in the best way since our husband and father passed away. I've had my share of "bullying" men since he passed and I don't put up with that either. We've added new sites, repairing roads. As far as snowbirds not coming back, they are all here except the ones with health problems. We've been at capacity all season. So see ya around "Ronnie". You are disgruntled because you told to slow down an stop. Don

Was A Nice Park

Years ago this was a pleasant place to stay. The owner has passed away and now his wife and sons manage the park. Park is filled with unneeded STOP signs and signs with comments such as "What Part of Slow You not Understand". If you happen to not stop at one of these signs, one of the sons or owner will chase you down and you will be yelled at like a "red headed step child". These signs have been positioned so close to the gravel roads that two vehicles cannot go between the signs, one must wait on the other. Also the owners son has had sticky fingers and took a item from a camper because he thought it was his. He refused to return it after admitting he did take it. The camper called the police and that is when the owner of this park showed her true self. She came to the campers site and got in their face. She could be heard yelling 4 campsites over and then served the campers a 72 hour evection notice for unacceptable behavior for calling the police. If you like yelling and DRAMA, then you will fit perfect here!!

TLC shows at affordable, friendly park.

This was a great little park we stayed at on our way to TX from Florida. The owner has put a lot of love into this place, and they have one of the best club houses we've seen. Laundry facilities are neat as a pin and inexpensive. The grounds are neat, but basic. Don't expect a resort-environment here. You make your own fun. The only downside is the sites are a little close together, but that didn't present much of a problem. Residents are super friendly and there's lots of room to roam. A great place to stay for a week or a season.
