A real campground
This campground is very quiet and the campingspots are spacious. Where I have seen 20 rv's parked in tight spaces at other parks this park in the same amount of space has 3 spots. There is a Marina to rent boats for fishing or recreation, boat ramp, swimming area and one of the USA's first designated hiking trails on the Mountain Island known as Sugarloaf. There is Blanchard Springs Cavern less than an hour away and the Dam that makes the lake a reality was dedicated by President John F. Kennedy and is about a half hour drive. There is a lot more to do but you can always get peace and quiet at this very safe park.
