Mississippi River State Park (Bear Creek Lake)

AMAZING!

This has to be one of our TOP 3 parks of all time...and we've stayed at a lot of State Parks. First of all the sites are HUGE and have water, electric and sewer...not to mention AMAZING LAKE FRONT VEIWS! There is ample parking for at least three cars. The RV pad is large enough to accomondate a 40 foot RV. There is also a tent pad, Grill, seperate fire ring and a nice metal picnic table with each camping site. The bathrooms are large and private. We hiked the trail across the street from the entrance...it was only a mile long but with markers throughout the trail describing the veragtions it was a really nice hike. One other thing we really liked is that you can get AT&T cell cervice, Southern sky views for satelite service or TV signal coverage from the Memphis market.
