Quiet
Another of the COE parks on the shores of Beaver Lake, but in a fairly remote area compared to most of the others. Paved access roads and paved back-in sites. Few sites are level, most are tree shaded with some that have only partial shade. There is a lower and upper campground; the lower has many waterfront sites that will flood when the lake level is high. It is also a bit noisier due to marina and boat traffic. The upper is much quieter but not near the water and with very few views of the water. Deer and wildlife abound thru the entire park.
All sites are water and electric only but there is a dump station on-site. Several rooftop television channels are available including most of the major networks. A few sites (#31) have a clear view of the southern sky to allow satellite antenna usage. This is a quiet little park that is great for fishing, boating or just relaxation. If you love hiking, Hobbs State Park is about 10 minutes drive to the south with numerous trails of varying lengths to suit any taste. We stayed here 3 nights in our travel trailer and would visit again.
