Quaint Park

This park has a huge club house and kitchen, the manager here is very sweet. I traveled here in my 40 foot 5th wheel in January 2017. I was referred to this campground by a management staff at a sister property. I enjoyed my stay here and thoroughly enjoyed my evening walks with my little pooch. The guests here are extremely friendly and I made many new friends.. Thanks Toni for the referral

Our winter Hide Away

The park is a family mobile home and RV park. We have parked our RV at the Silver Spur for the past 3 years, we have a seasonal spot. It's a no frills family park but the price is right and the lot sizes are big. You hardly know that any children live in the park, they are all so well behaved. The pool is rather small but it works, they also have 2 spas. The activities are mostly in the winter when all of we snowbirds come back. Activities include pot luck dinners, breakfast, jam session, water & chair aerobics, line dancing, cards, movie night, bingo, hiking, etc. The park has 4 laundry areas, a recreation hall, pool hall, and library. Volunteer are what makes the park. On your daily evening walk you will find groups of people socializing and you are always invited to join. It is a very pet friendly park, there is even a gentleman called the dog whisperer, the dogs know he always has treats for them and the dog walk is one of the biggest I've seen. I think the park could invest a few dollars into updating the pool and social areas, maybe install a picnic area with BBQ's, horseshoe pit, shuffle board or some kind of outdoor recreation areas. We have had no problems with the manager, have been please with the park and have enjoyed our stay. It sure beats the snow and cold!!!!!

BAD WIFI

I was the one that posted that speed test of the parks wifi, I also want to say that there are other tests that I have done on this connecion but willnot be specific for legatlty purposes but I will say that this wifi network is only capable of connecting 3 to 4 people TOPS and thats really pushing it. It took over an hour and a half just to do the speed test.

STOP DON'T

The manager is very rude and is not willing to help or answer question. They offer a years lease but when you apply they denie you due to they want the $229.00 a month instead of the $1200.00 for the year.
