Do NOT stay here unless you like complete jerks

We arrived at 11:40am (check-in) is at Noon. Our spot was vacant and we proceeded to maneuver our trailer into the back-in spot. As we were doing this, the old guy comes racing across the lot in his golf cart screaming "you can't park yet. Check-in is at Noon!". I asked him if we could finish parking since our space was available. He ordered us to go park in an overflow lot until Noon. When asked what the issue was, he barked back "Rules are rules". Since this was our initial greeting, we will NOT be back. They other reviews were correct. Despite the beauty of the area, it doesn't make up for the rudeness of the owners and we will spend our money elsewhere.

The Best

This park is beautiful. You can walk to nearby shops and restaurants and I even have trouble walking. We have now added two more nights to this trip because this park has such a serene ambiance. It's no wonder to me now why people live here.

Awesome RV Park

This place was so clean and nicely landscaped. Each site had a cement patio with a BBQ and table. Lots of grass, trees, plants, and the best was shade. We used their restrooms and laundry and they were very clean and up-to-date. I would recommend this campground and would return again. We asked for a pull through site and it was wroth the extra price from the regular back-in sites.

Good RV spot in good location, a bit dearer than others

Good shade, near the river. Level sites. Was not too busy when we were there late July. Clean showers / toilets. Dearer than other options (we had the cheapest sites - others are dearer) but pluses make up for that.
Good service from the team there.

Just in Town

Very Accessible in town, surrounded with trees and the view of the Red Rocks. Our dog love the Creek. The shower/restrooms is not enough for the large number of campers, I usually shower late at night so I don't have to rush with so many people waiting in line. The park is all gravel, the entrance from the highway is kind of steep..so be careful going down. Staff are always busy, don't ask questions if they are attending other guest or they are talking in the phone. Overall we like this place, we will be going back here again for our next thanksgiving celebration.

Right in town

The two best things about this park are that it is right in town (Tlaquepaque is an easy walk) and it has lots of trees. The sites are snug. There are only 2 showers for all those RVs; I had to wait almost half an hour for a shower. It is truly amazing the someone can be in the shower for that long!!! The staff is very brusk and make sure that you know all of the rules, and there are lots of them with a long list of 'don'ts'.
There is a nice area in the shower area with benches etc that would be good if you had a family and needed to spread out. It's pricey, but you are paying for location.

looky-loo review, sedona

Here's our review, for full photos of the RV park, look on our website, www.wanderingairstream.com and look under looky-loo reviews on the eddie blog!!

Rancho Sedona is where we stayed while visiting red rock country. It is a very convenient campground, just minutes from the downtown area. The campground is very shaded, which in summer would be welcome relief,as Sedona has a warm climate. Even while visiting in April it was high 70′s, where as just 30 miles North in Flagstaff, it was 20 degrees colder (on a good day).

The grounds are very well maintained, as were the shower/bathrooms and laundry area. The bathrooms are cleaned early bird early.. 5 -6 a.m so unless you are getting up early to head out, they are fresh and ready to go first thing in the morning. The park was completely full while we were there and everything was always clean and available.

The internet was hands down 100% the best of anywhere we’ve been, as good as being directly connected at home with no one else using it. I miss it. It saved me using my wifi for every little thing and the reception was better than that too.

It’s a paws up review from clark & ellen, if you’re coming to this area, you can’t go wrong, we would bet they stay busy, so call for reservations!

Great campground... Worth the extra money

Kids loved the creek and wild animals. We loved the trees and quiet location. Everything top notch. Close to free shuttle to explore the town. Highly recommend this campground.
