An oasis!

I can't tell you how much we appreciated finding Bakersfield RV Resort! We ended up there after a couple of days driving through excessive heat advisories and some desolate landscapes with dust, parched earth and little to no shade. It was SO nice to pull into such a wonderful, level, clean resort like this. It really is first class! We took advantage of the wonderful restaurant and went back to our RV happy and cooled off with full bellies! We were driving a 25' motorhome with a tow vehicle (42' over-all) and were escorted to our ample, pull thru site with FHU. This is definitely big rig friendly. We had no trouble finding south for our DirecTV satellite dish. Our 2 doodles appreciated the sporadic patches of grass. We were just there for an overnight, but if ever we find ourselves in Bakersfield again, we would not even look at other places to stay. The amenities...massages, pool, fitness center were unused by us, but would be a welcome treat next time. We paid $45.90 total (Good Sam, FMCA, etc)

Hidden gem

The park really understands customer service. They direct you to the site so you don't have to figure anything out. There is a restaurant that will deliver excellent food to your rig. You can schedule a massage in the treatment room. They have an awesome pool and Jacuzzi. If you're passing through Bakersfield schedule a night or two at this place you will not be disappointed. I used to consider Bakersfield to pass through but now I'm going to use it as a destination as well

We are back!

Spent one night here our way to Vallejo, spent one night at a crowded place in a very narrow spot, went to the Dog Show for 4 days, enjoyed it so much here at Bakersfield RV Resort we stopped back for at least two days maybe three on our way to the Dog Show in Vegas. This is such a great place to be! Amenities to die for! We now have a spot we will stop every time we are in Bakersfield area. Actually this is a 10 Star place!

Four wonderful days at Bakersfield R.V. Resort

My husband,Dave and I belong to a RV club and we have stayed at many RV parks in California's central valley.

Our club met at the Bakersfield R.V. Resort in Bakersfield, Ca. for four days.

The resort was one of the best we have stayed at The employees were very helpful. The check in was done very professionally. Once you check in you are escorted to your RV site where you are given help to park.

The waitness in the dining room was very friendly and the service was great.

As we walked out of the resturant we noticed the Wifi stations just inside of the entrance. As we walked back to our RV site we noticed a swimming pool,a putting green, and a spa.

The RV site was excellent. It had full hook up,a nice cement patio, lawn along the side of the space with a big shade tree. The site was very wide and long so we had no problem backing in and we also had lots of room to park the car we were towing.

The clubhouse had a very modern kitchen along with a huge dinning area along with a huge projection TV screen..One of the biggest I've ever seen.

We have been to places where the reception for our cell phones were very bad. At the Bakersfield RV resort the reception was excellent, along with the TV reception.

I feel this was one of the best RV parks we have stayed and believe me, we have stayed at lot of them.

Love it here!

I love this park. I love everything about it. Nice people, wonderful pool, great homemade cookies at the office and a really good restaurant. Clean and quiet. I would not stay anywhere else with our RV in Bakersfield. Period.

Superb in town resort.

If you are passing through Bakersfielld I cn highly recommend this spot.clean facilty, great staff, great diner attached, large heated pool, spa, clean showers. Only thing stopping it from five stars was location in town.but for an in town facility it gets 5 stars. No need to look elsewhere in area, IMHO.
