Bear Mountain RV Resort, Bakersfield, CA
Great park for an overnight stay. Easy access from I-5 or 99. Eliminates the need to go through Bakersfield. All sites are pull through and extra long. Our truck, 38' 5'er and an extra car all fit nicely in the site. Didn't use the cable TV, although available. Over 35 channels with the antennae. Good Verizon phone and Wi-Fi signal. Didn't use the park Wi-Fi, although available. Due to a recent fire, no showerhouse, bathrooms or laundry were available. New facilities being worked on. Absolutely no shade whatsoever. We'll stay here again if we pass through this area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
