Not what I expected -very disappointed

I thought I was booking a campsite by the river at this campground. But, when we arrived, we found out our deluxe pull through full hookups site was in the very back, behind trailer trash looking units and facing a bare field. There also wasn't any TV service at all. I asked for another site but closer to the river and was put in a water and electric only site on a grassy area without a fable or BBQ. There was no way to distinguish where each site began or where they ended. Everyone was facing in different directions. Once we walked over to the river then we could see it. Only tent sites viewed the river. I was very disappointed from their ad's description and their photos. I wouldn't come back again.

Disappointed!

I expected our campsite to at least be close to the river like it's advertised. Instead we had reserved a deluxe pull through with full hookups. That was our mistake! Those campsites were behind rows and rows of trailer trash full-time units and faced bare fields, we then asked for another site and was put close to the river but we sat upon a grassy area with RV's going every which way. No dividers between the sites and no table or BBQ's. This site only had water and electric and cost the same as the other deluxe pull through site with full hookups, thank goodness we were only staying one night so we made the best of it. (Also no TV available)! I wouldn't stat here again.

Great little getaway!

There camp sites and rv sites are not like most of the rv campgrounds. We too were put on a grass area with hook ups. It was a nice break from the norm. We were close to the water, the place was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and we made some wonderful new friends during our 3 day stay. They also have a great little lagoon to make it safe for the kids to play away from the moving river. Nice boat launch and dock. We will be going again...hope to see you there! Nick and Kim

OH my goodness what a dump.

We were on our last night of a 2 week vacation in our pop-up. I had made reservations for McIntyre online a few months before. We drove over 5 hours to find we were being put into a soggy field with NO shade (it was 102). We were also the furthest away from the water we could be..we drove another 4 hours to home without staying. YUCK
