The Lakes RV & Golf Resort

For staying just one night it is hard to write a review. We got there earily evening to this gated facility, in a nice rain storm. In checking in I found the staff to be a little on the surly or maybe stuff side. Anyway they asigned us a back-in space and when you are driving a 36 foot motorhome, towing a car in a driving rain, the last thing you want to do is get out and unhook and then have your wife out helping back in. With the number of empty pull- throughs they had that night you think they could have given a little good will and customer service. We decided to go into see what Chowchilla had to offer, and when we returned we found that the fob they gave us to open the gate did not work. Well we were lucky for one of guest happen to come by and was able to let us in. When I turned it in the next AM and I told them that it didn't work there was no sorry and not much remorse.
