Best ever!!
Amazing place. Immaculate grounds. Maximizes spaces by well planned hedges so each site has its own small yard. Great dog run. And with so many amenities to entertain you. Staff are fabulous. We came in after hours so they left our packet as is fully gated secured property. Then still swing by to be sure we got parked ok. Wish we were golfers.
Rude staff member
I called to make a reservation and was treated rudely. I decided not to stay there based upon the lack of customer service. I see from reading other reviews that my treatment wasn't unusual.
One Night
For staying just one night it is hard to write a review. We got there earily evening to this gated facility, in a nice rain storm. In checking in I found the staff to be a little on the surly or maybe stuff side. Anyway they asigned us a back-in space and when you are driving a 36 foot motorhome, towing a car in a driving rain, the last thing you want to do is get out and unhook and then have your wife out helping back in. With the number of empty pull- throughs they had that night you think they could have given a little good will and customer service. We decided to go into see what Chowchilla had to offer, and when we returned we found that the fob they gave us to open the gate did not work. Well we were lucky for one of guest happen to come by and was able to let us in. When I turned it in the next AM and I told them that it didn't work there was no sorry and not much remorse.
Very nice park
Very well designed with many amenities. Full concrete pads, wide sites. A little pricey for Chowchilla but a great stop or destination. Golf and an outstanding restaurant.
