Very welcome park

Spent 4 days there at this great shady park. The staff, all the staff, went out of their way to make a very crowded weekend perfect. This weekend 4-27-29-2013 was a vintage camper trailer rally with 80 vintage trails about. I can't find one thing to complain about other than this weekend set record highs for this date. The cool breese blew in at night cooling us off nicely though. The trailer folks had a open house Sat. from 10am to 4 pm. we all got to see and go in side of all these great oldies. I will do it again next year so as to see the rest of the trailer I missed this time.

Trashy Trailer Park

Road to office is littered with junked alum sheds. Turned corner at office and nice river view but taking evening walk discovered this place is a real junky place with a junk yard in the bank and junk yard by the laundry. This is a junky trailer park that let's RVs stay. Wifi is a joke only can get at office deck with all the local smokers. Yuck!!! Rained, mud everywhere.

Amazing Recreational Opportunities

Due to its unique location this park has way more to offer than the average RV park. To begin with it is located right on the Sacramento River. But there is more, right next door is the large Tehama County River Park, a day use facility, and next to it is the huge Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area. On the east side of Woodson Bridge RV Park is the 1,140 acre Rio Vista Unit of the Sacramento River National Wildlife Refuge. My advice is to stay in the Woodson Bridge RV Park and enjoy all its facilities, and then do your recreation in the other three areas where trails abound. Don’t be alarmed at the unsightly permanent sites when you first enter the park, there are nice river front sites further in.
