Great place centrally located
This place is beautiful. Nice wide spaces and nice green grass. Mountain views are awesome! Great price, centrally located to old mining towns, antiques, Indian grinding rock, and much more. Shuttle every 20 minutes goes to the casino or the gas station/store with the best broasted chicken in Amador county. Very quiet and respectful RVers here, and the casino has a nice buffet if you don't feel like cooking. We've been here many times and love it. Christmas time the lights decorate the whole reservation and RV park and are so beautiful to see. Deer are usually prevalent in the area by the teepee display on the way to the casino. Shuttle drivers are wonderful tour guides and have much information to share about the history. Definitely a place for me!
Well Maintained
Jackson Rancheria is a very clean, well maintained campground. The staff is plentiful and pleasant. Water used by RV'ers is recycled. The staff gives you black water treatment for your tank and dumps your tank upon entering to make sure it's not contaminated with formaldehyde. Trees are planted throughout the campground, but have not matured enough to give much shade. Picnic tables at each site are heavy-duty, rubber-coated metal. The grass is watered nightly and we were advised not to park with our RV hanging off the cement parking area to avoid getting wet from the sprinklers. The entire campground is level with nice roadways and restrooms and great views of the surrounding area. Although the casino is fairly close it is not in view from the campground. A shuttle is provided and makes its rounds about every 20 minutes to half hour to take you to the casino. Although the campground was busy and close to capacity while we were here for three days, it was quiet and relaxing. Other campers were pleasant. It seemed like a lot of campers had dogs, but they were responsible, quiet and cleaned up after them. All in all, a nice campground. I would have gave a five star rating if the trees were larger and gave more shade, but that will come in time. We are looking forward to returning.
First Run
Overall a great park. Level sites and beautiful views of the mountains/tress. Cable TV was not existent in site 91. Not sure if it was a site issue but we were in a brand new 5th Wheel. Sites are level and wide. This was our first trip in our trailer and used a pull-thru but I think backing in would be no problem with the wide roads. Watch the pole after you check in and are dumping (they require you to empty your tanks (black/grey) before you enter.
Great Park
The wife and I have visited the Park around 30 times. The sites are spacious and clean. Large cement pads and grass beyond. It has a hilltop view of the surrounding area. Beautiful club house, heated pool and spa's. it's very relaxing and clean!
Beautiful Park
Beautiful location, well maintained, good wifi most of the time, digital AND analog TV on park cable. The clubhouse is gorgeous.
If you don't have to have a pull through get a space on the outer loop. Bigger spaces and much better views. Stay on the concrete pad! The lawn is watered every night and anything near the grass will get soaked.
Keep your dogs on a leash and clean up after them and everyone will be happier.
GREAT PARK
WE HAVE STAYED HERE SEVERAL TIMES THIS YEAR AND LAST YEAR...GREAT PARK LARGE SITES WITH LOTS OF GRASS AROUND CEMENT SLABS WE LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.
