Remote

This is a decent county park that is staffed with friendly employees who maintain it well. There are a few hikes in the immediate vicinity but otherwise you're in a remote spot in Anza Borrego. Nice pools are the main feature. A significant bummer is zero cellphone reception and no park Wi-Fi.

HOT

Be aware that the weather site on the San Diego County website gives the temperature for Julian, Ca. It is more like Anza Borrego temperature.
