Great spot!
I stayed here over 3 weeks. Beautiful location, surf pounding, slight road noise. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, great shower pressure. The only thing I don't like is leaving.
Beautiful location but one employee very rude
Some other review mentioned it felt like a prison, and it does put fear in you with all the rules and feeling of big brother is watching, whether you're good or not, but location and view is great and a wonderful location.
We checked in June 2011 for a about ten nights with 2 adults and 2 small Doxies. I was trying to back my small RV into its little slot when the man who checked us in was standing there watching us. I became very nervous backing in (I'd only backed in one other time). My partner was standing outside trying to guide me and this man kept standing there glaring at us. I finally stopped backing up, got out of the car and said hi, and was there a problem? He told me that we had checked in as 2 adults and he saw a child in the car. Omg! We had flown our 10 year old granddaughter Texas and she had RV'd with us for the past 10 days, to our final destination for her, Santa Monica. As soon as we were able to "park" our RV we were going to my daughter's home to drop the granddaughter off, etc.
If this employee thought I was so "low bred" as to sneak a child into the park (but not a dog) then why could he have not had the courtesy to wait to approach until I had at least backed our RV into its respective spot? We had also just driven several hours and driven the LA interstates. Fortunately, we never saw him again during our stay. With our two month travel across the US, he was the worse and gave me a very bad taste for the park. Others seemed fine and park was clean, but $$$ seem uppermost, not customer service. Amenities are good and we also felt safe. This year we'll try another location that has a smile and a little more courtesy for weary travelers.
Terrible Managers
This park may have great views but it does not make up for the terrible customer service.I do not know how they get away with treating paying guest like they do. They should all be fired!!!!
Absolut unfriendly people - Wi-fi connection disaster for 2011 and 64 $ / night
Not use this a RV Park! Ist not holidays, it's prison!!!
Lame excuse to be a managers
I really don't know what they're problem was, but management was making up all sorts of lies to kick people out... Me and my kids had to stay a night on PCH because of this. I guess they do this type of thing all the time.
Great Ocean View
It's pricey compared to the state RV parks but it has full amenities. The public bathroom and showers are big and very clean. Great view of the ocean and a nice location on Pacific Coast Highway. It's centrally located so you can go south to Los Angeles and Orange County and north to Oxnard/Ventura/Santa Barbara.
Malibu Beach RV Park
Beautiful panoramic vista of the ocean. Clifftop above the Pacific Coast Highway, but not much traffic noise. Instead, loud surf pounding all day. Great, easy drive into Santa Monica, Venice, Beverly Hills. Don't think I'd want to stay anywhere else when visiting LA. Quiet, safe, and secure.
