3.5 Stars

Great central location and convenient for golfers given there are two 18 hole golf courses onsite. They've added an enclosed dog park as well. Bathrooms are decent and appear to be cleaned daily. Negatives: Early morning golf course maintenance, small sites and nearby nightclub music on weekends. Would really like to see a more robust recycling program.

Quiet and Clean

Just stayed for one day while in San Diego to see a concert. It's quiet and clean. Not much to do, but the location is prime to many things in SD. Office staff seemed bored and not very friendly.

Problem with dogs

We really enjoy staying there. Close to our grandchildren etc. the problem we have is they don't have a dog park and they don't enforce rules about dogs. The beautiful grassy area especially in the far corner of the park near the playground tends to be a toilet for dogs. I watched out our window when whew we're there and everyone with dogs let them pee or poop there. Some don't even pick up after them. I won't walk there or let my grand children walk on that area because of this unsanitary place.

Nice Location, Nice Facilities

Centrally located in San Diego, but secluded and quite. Nice park, great amenities, friendly staff. The software program that assigns sites to campers is very poorly designed and campers are constantly having to move from spot to spot. This problem can be avoided, however, by making reservations in advance. I would give 4 stars if the reservation system was better.

Admiral Baker RV Park

This military RV FamCamp is very conveniently located for sightseeing in San Diego. Downtown, the Zoo, Sea World, Old Town are all within 20 minutes from the park. Sights are a bit narrow and not all are big rig friendly. WiFi is extra as is the pool which is only open during the summer.
