Base of Operations
This huge regional park is conveniently located between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. It was once a military training base, but today could serve as your own personal base of operations for recreation and exploration. The campground is a quiet oasis in the midst of a golf course, botanical gardens, hiking trails, and a large day-use area. We enjoyed birding and hiking right from our site.
