We would like to thank all of the RV Parking members who submitted photos and reviews for our Favorite Places contest. We loved reading about your RV experiences and looking at the breathtaking photos from your RV travels. It was a challenge to select just one Grand Prize winner and three runners-up - here are the winners along with some of our top picks from the remaining entries.

Dead Horse Point State Park in Moab, UT

"Dead Horse Point State Park near Moab, Utah, just may be our newest ‘favorite’ campground and definitely an all around favorite State Park... We knew this was a small remote campground with only 21 sites and only a few that would comfortably accommodate our 31 foot fifth wheel thus, we made reservations for our stay 4 months in advance. My reason for staying at this campground was to be near the scenic viewpoints within the park for sunrise and sunset photography. Canyonlands National Park and its stunning scenery are also located just a few miles up the road."
St. Joseph Peninsula State Park in Port St. Joe, FL

"If the beach is your thing and you like the more out of the way places with an unhurried pace, then this is the place for you. This park is located at the tip of the peninsula which circling Port St. Joe bay. It is un-crowded save for campers with miles of power white sand. I call this a throw back park which reminds me of an earlier time when parks were destinations, the stuff where family life-time memories are made."
Rio Grande Village in Big Bend National Park, TX

"Big Bend is a remote, Texas-sized huge National Park that will amaze you with its gorgeous canyons, river, mountains and deserts. Of the 4 campgrounds within the park boundaries, we found the Rio Grande Village (non-hookup) campground the best for RV camping... The Rio Grande Village Nature Trail at the non-hookup campground is not to be missed! Outstanding 360-degree panoramic views of the campground and river below, as well as Mexico's Sierra del Carmen mountains."
Tyler State Park in Tyler, TX

"We are always looking forward to visiting Tyler State Park. We usually go in October, after the crowds have thinned out a little. The autumn colors are awesome here, and the weather is cool enough to truly enjoy hiking all the way around the lake. It’s also quite large, hilly, and scenic with beautiful pines and hardwood trees, creeks, and a gorgeous lake. It offers camping, picnicking, hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, playgrounds, and boating."
