Pull Over sites
The sites here aren't exactly pull through, they are more pull over. You have blacktop roads with parking spots marked off. Between the roads is a sandy area with lots of pine trees. Each parking spot has a table and a fire ring. Unique. But the ground is slightly rolling dunes, so it is virtually impossible to park without adjusting one corner or another of the RV.
No electricity, but there is water at most sites; it's $2 less if you take a site without water. And while it is situated at a point in the bay, it is quite a trek to the ocean.
The town of Lewes is very close and has LOTS of restaurants and gobs of history (it was the first town in Delaware). The ferry to Cape May is just down the road, and that makes it easy to go either way.
