RV review

Nice, quiet park, directly on the gulf. Beach is nicer down the road though

My stay at Ho Hum

I love this park, great scenery and the folks are so friendly. I met several people who were here for the month. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Low on amenities is why I rated only 4 stars.

Hidden Gem

We started out at the Carrabelle Palm Beach Campground, which was aesthetically nice, but can't beat the beach access here. Hosts were so warm and welcoming and we stayed longer than planned. Will be coming back next year!

Perfect en-route find!

We stopped in at Ho-Hum RV Park on our way from St Petersburg up to Panama City. We could have pushed on to PCB but decided to stop early for the night. Ho Hum's staff was awesome. I called ahead to see if they had a spot for us. We arrived and were given a pull through spot steps from the water.

The only knocks where not about the park but about foot access. The beach was too narrow to walk at high tide and there is no walkway along US-98. Since we did not have our toad with us we made a pot of mac and cheese and watched the sunset.

OK, but packed closely

This is waterfront and the RVs are really crammed in there. The park is sand and it gets tracked everywhere, especially into the RV. The people running the place turn over regularly and when we were there, they were nice, but the woman checking people in could only do one thing at a time, very slowly and got overloaded and frustrated. Our spot was a back-in and we faced the door to a pull-through spot which made it feel even more claustrophobic. There is not much of a beach as it is mostly mud, but there is a nice dock. The washers are household and if your stuff does not dry, you cannot extend the time. It is about 10 minutes from a small town that has restaurants and a grocery store. When we go back, we will try someplace else.
