nice place
Nice location on the barrier island. Trolley stop directly in front of campground. Level sites. Reason for 4 stars: only 3 laundry machines upstairs; 3 working showers for entire park, also upstairs, for the 3 nights we stayed. Most guests are staying multiple nights and a park this size should have more facilities. Dog run was not used by us or any other campers - needs serious help. Since most sites are pull-in, a place to reattach tow vehicle would be nice. We had to leave the park to attach our tow car since others were also trying to leave.
Outstanding
Great park! Nice staff! Well maintained and clean!! Paved and grassy areas for pets, concrete pull-in sites, full hookups. Walking convenient to great area restaurants and immediate beach access! Pet friendly!
Beach Front
3 levels, standard $65, deluxe $75 and premier $90 which is facing the bay with nothing between you and the beauty. The wifi and cable are wonderful. They also have weekly and monthly rates. We will be back. Good Sam 10% discount
Great RV Park
Hosted out clubs Christmas outing this week and it turned out to be a great outing. The staff bent over backwards to ensure all of our members had a great time. The park is immaculate, the spots are level concrete, hook ups on both sides of the site. Pensacola beach is a great town, plenty of restaurants and a visit to the National Air Museum is a must.
4th of July
Park road is nice and paved - perfect for kids' bikes and scooters. Pads are all level concrete - easy to pull in & set up. Sites have patios and hook ups on both sides. Waterfront lots are just feet from clean sand with volleyball net in middle. Water has a "sea wall" that is large loose boulders, but there are three access stairs along beach to easily go in and out of water. Water is only about 3-4 feet deep for about 50 yards from shore - perfect for kids wading (need water shoes to avoid cuts from rocks close to shore, but sand is cleaner further out). Fun for wading, fishing, cabbing, or just floating. Fireworks show is from a barge right in front of campground! Walking to several restaurants, trolley to others, or bicycle to the Gulf beach. Pool in middle of campground is s,mall, but very clean and convenient. Holiday rate on waterfront it a bit pricier than non-waterfront, but worth it. Ask when sprinkler system runs ;)
Great Experience
Stopped for one night on way to Tampa. Great customer service. Great layout. Easy access to/from I 10. Pet friendly. Friendly neighbors. Very close to restaurants. Nice, quiet location. Highly recommended.
My favorite place
We have always been treated very well in Pensacola . The facility is always clean and the associates that work there have always been extremely pleasant and friendly. We always plan our vacation around this particular park. Everything we need is within walking distance.
