Fun in the KEYS!

What a fantastic vacation my wife and I had here. Full hook up and the owners were happy to tell us about a bunch of places to enjoy nearby. If you have never been to the Keys, Key Largo is a must-stop to enjoy the beauty of the KEYS and staying at this RV Park will be on our list again next year!

Slice of Paradise

I have been coming here since they renovated and upgraded this RV Park several years now. I have never been disappointed or treated rudely as some of these reviews suggest. Owners make sure that disrespectful and people that take advantage are promptly removed so as to ensure the other tenants have a good stay. I guess some of those people are upset that their behavior isn't tolerated and like to leave a bad review. We all know people have no problem leaving a bad review when not happy but the good experiences are rarely reviewed....so here goes.... Reasonably priced with great location. Key Largo is a place that will not disappoint! A stones throw away from John Pennekamp State Park. This RV park is the perfect location for your stay in the Keys. Great group of regulars that comes every year around my stay time. Why do so many people keep coming back? ...........because it is a good deal and a great place to spend a vacation!

W /D Mi.

We have been coming here for 18 years and planning more. No problems. If you keep a clean camp and follow camp rules you have no problem. It's quiet by 10 pm, your not hazzeld. It's a campground not the Hilton with room service.

Great RV Park for the Season

I am in my 8th Season. I keep my boat in sight of my RV. Great group of people
whom have been here often. I will be continuing many more Winter Seasons.
Rates are reasonable and the Management is great, unless you poach lobsters
as one group did. Several tenants watched these transient just throw the lobster
up over the dock. Why Management let them stay was amazing, but did they hear about
it from Management, Good for the Management
I give the place 5 Stars.

Stay only as a last resort ...

Not a good choice. Called to reserve ahead of time. No mention of minimum stay on the phone. Got there and hard to figure out where to check in. Called owner, and she met us a few minutes later. She said we could stay the night, and decide later whether to extend, even though their "policy" is 3 night minimum.

They should rename this park "Oh by the way ...". Despite amenities listed on the web site, wifi didn't work, cable didn't work, no showers/bath house, and no discount since none of that worked. :)

After first night, they said we'd have to leave since they had electrical work to do. Moved to Point of View in Key Largo instead, and that park is excellent.

This is probably a "last resort" park ..., but OK location.

Unbelievable ....These individuals called us and we told them we had no available sites left. They then explained they had "No place to go" and so we agreed to let them stay the one night in a space that was not one of our sites but rather a space near a storage trailer for work being done onsite to improve and renovate the park. Our minimum is a 3 night stay but because they were desperate "to park anywhere" we allowed them to pull in and told them if a space opened up the next day they could stay additional time but otherwise just for the night as a lot of construction and electrical work needed to be done near where they were parked for the night. The items they mentioned didn't work because of the area they had to park in and because we were renovating the bath house etc. This was explained to them when they begged us to stay the night and they assured us they were fine with that. They were fully aware of the work we were doing in the park. It is amazing to my wife and me that they would be so ungrateful as to write this bogus account of their stay. The only thing I can think of as to why they would do this is they were upset we did not provide a discount.... we went to a lot of trouble to accommodate them and we did not feel the need to discount ....if they did not like the charge they should not have agreed to it. In fact if it wasn't for the fact that the wifi did not reach the area they were parked in ( as mentioned It is not a true RV site and WIFI never reaches that area of the park which they were made aware of) and the bath house was being renovated we should have added a surcharge for having to get up late at night to help them into the space they had agreed to! Additionally they posted the photo of the storage trailer which as mentioned is not a permanent structure on our property site.... It doesn't give me a whole lot of faith in humanity when you run into people like this.

Blue Fin Rock Harbor Marina

Blue Fin Rock Harbor Marina RV Park in Key Lago Florida was abominable. They advertised accomodation for RVs up to 40 feet. When we arrived we questioned the owner Alana about our coach fitting in our assigned site . She stated "oh we have fit up to 45' coaches without a problem" She quickly left and told us her office manager Michael will assist us. WRONG ! He sat on a gulf cart with a pitbull sitting next to him and watched my husband struggle with negotiating our 40' coach into this small parking lot. I asked Michael to please help my husband and he just sat there and watched. In trying to get into the very narrow parking lot my husband tore a hole in our bay door. I yelled to Michael again to help my husband and he just sat there on the cart.
In order to try and fit in our site we had to take the coach over some weeds and rocks. Again Michael just sat there. I asked Michael to call Alana , that he did. I told Alana what happened and she said she was surprised that Michael did not assist us because he always has in the past ( a lie , her husband said later on that they never help) We should have left then but it was Christmas and we knew it would be difficult to get another reservation some place else. The place was run down. We couldn't find the shower and the laundry room was filthy. When I made the reservation two months ago, Alana and her husband assured me if I wanted to leave earlier there would not be any problem with a refund . WRONG again ! "They were good at Bait and Switch." Alanas husband told me we would not receive a refund because he was going to use the money to replace the weeds we ran over ( we had no place to go and no help or guidance). We were also told that we would have a beautiful garden site. What a joke. Two half dead palms on concrete. These two owners are liers and thieves , They were rude and condescending. Please warn people to stay as far away from this place as possible.
