Hi Suzan !!!!!!

My wife and I stayed 5 nights in Feb. It was our first trip to the Keys and we loved it. We had a wonderful time and I can not tell you how helpful the people at Pelican Cays were to us. We have a 38' RV and Suszan went out of her way to make us comfortable. "She cut down a tree" so we would fit. It was a very enjoyable experience and we will be sure to stop on out next trip. Thank you Suzan !!!! Rick and Faye from Hannibal, Mo.

Very Interesting

I was cool with this place but I just wanted to review it for families or for the conservatives out there. Ummm, first off, if your looking for a clean professionally run RV park this is not it. But, it was just fine for me..I only stayed one night. I'll get to it: very small close quarters, hard to back in (my coach is 20'), mostly long term residents, no 30amp, not sure about 50 but who knows (used a 110 adapter w/ very long ext. cord plugged into who knows where), CASH only (don't even think about asking for a receipt), don't expect cable or anything like that, not sure about water as she was going to run a hose from really far away so I said let's not worry about that, if your opposed to the slight smell of wacky cigarettes :) ya might want to consider somewhere else. Make sure you have everything you need before staying here, it is kinda in the middle of nowhere(south of Florida City and north of Key Largo). MOST IMPORTANTLY...DO NOT MISS THE TURN - MILE MARKER 113 - LEFT IF GOING SOUTH AND OF COURSE RIGHT IS GOING NORTH...THERE IS NO U-TURN UNTIL KEY LARGO..JUST SLOW DOWN AND WAIT FOR THE TURN AND FORGET ABOUT ALL THE FAST DRIVING PEOPLE BEHIND YOU THAT WILL PROBABLY GIVE YOU THE FINGER...PLEASE DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE TWICE IN THE DARK :) The Good things is that you have little dock to walk out on and view the glades meet the keys...HAVE FUN AND REMEMBER RV'ERS ARE THE COOLEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD! Oh yeah..a little pricey for the venture!
