Simply Horrendous - Do Not Stay Here!

Please do not stay at this facility.....it is advertised as an RV park, but is really an old, dirty, ill-kept mobile home park with mostly older permanent RV or travel trailer homes. The roads have potholes and the "campsites" we uneven and not level with hairpin turns that cannot accommodate larger RV rigs. The permanent campers are rude and unfriendly and the management is worse, if you can find them. The office appears to close each day at 5:00 p.m.......and this is a campground? It is advertised as lakefront, but only permanent folks can have lakefront sites. And there is really no launch or a place you can put your boat. The only Wi-Fi is in a building they term as a clubhouse and is filled with old musty books an VCR tapes and has old, dirty furniture. We noticed it was pet friendly, but it seems dogs can run anywhere with no enforcement of a leash. Also noticed there was a canvas business running out of one of the permanent trailer sites and also a handyman (handywomen) service was being promoted too when I was there. There are no fires (or firepits) allowed on site anymore either I was told. Run down horseshoe pits and really nothing much else. Very disappointing and just terrible.....trust me......do not stay here, please. Go up the road to Camp Florida Resort - approx. 1/2 mile away.
