GREAT STOP
We often avoid KOA?s. This one does everything right. Great bathrooms. Rustic environment. Lions roaring in the background. Nothing to complain about here. We would definitely stay again. Price is higher than many campgrounds. But you get a much reduced price on Lion Safari tickets.
Listening to the lions roar
We have only been to this KOA one time. It is a great place to take the kids to see all the animals and to visit the park next to the campground. The camp itself is nice and rustic.
Our Third Stay at Safari
We are enjoying our third stay at Lion Country Safari KOA Camp ground. First time was last year, and now our second time this year. The park is close enough to West Palm Beach you can do some shopping, or just stay out here in the country. A real treat is listening to the lions roar and growl in the morning. A three day stay special fare gives you two trips through the safari which is about an hour and a half drive through the park with free roaming animals.
