Alligator heaven
This is right on Lake Okeechobee so the view is like looking at the ocean. The park was in the process of being updated. There is a large sea wall area where you can fish or dock your boat. We were self contained so I can't comment on the bath facilities. Windy when we stayed. Bring all your supplies because the town of Pahokee's shopping leaves everything to be desired.
Great location
This may be the only RV park actually on the shore of Lake O. Other parks are behind the tall earth dike which surrounds the lake. There is a nice pool, a decent camp store, and a large marina onsite. Summers are buggy. Campsites are roomy enough, most not shady. The cracker cabins are great if you want to mix RV and non-RV-owning family for a get-together; choose bigger than you think you need, though. Fishing opportunities abound. You can hike along the top of the dike for a good distance. Crop-duster planes can be seen often on their way to the nearby sugarcane fields. EMS/Fire just on the other side of the dike. Full hookups. Lots of alligators and birds to be seen.
