Awesome one of the best kept secrets on the gulf.
Hidden gem
Ever site is a short walk to the beach. The staff is friendly. There are two restaurants with in walking distance. You can rent kayaks and boats near by as well. Most sites have some shade. I love this place.
Siesta Key, FL
This campground is a jewel. Its set in a residential area but its right on the beach. Its a narrow slot with about 40 sites. The sites are small and narrow and can't support big rigs. The sites all have full hook ups but no cable TV or wifi. There's nothing paved and sites are on gravel / sand.
The bath house it ok much like you'd find at a state park. There are two restaurants right across the street. Sietsa Key Beach is about a 3 mile bike ride away.
The sunsets here are just great.
Turtle Beach Campgrounds
We stayed on sight 17, awesome! The sites are small, but you have to expect that for being so close to the beach. The sites are beautiful and the campgrounds are clean. The staff and people are friendly. We WILL be going back. Great campgrounds.
Turtle Beach sits on Siesta Key in Sarasota County, FL and offers 2,600 linear feet of beach front.
