Thanksgiving getaway

Outstanding park. Every site feels private because they are spacious. Many have trees and planting in between. Bathrooms are immaculate. Volunteers are very friendly. There were many long-timers staying and it apparently is encouraged. Tucked away in town. Wouldn't know you're there until you venture out. Would stay again if headed near this location. Near Gainesville and Ocala/within about 30 minutes. Good San rates 10/10/10. We agree.

Outstanding choice to stay

This park is truly outstanding. Clean sites with plantings on them to give you a sense of privacy, pool, and clubhouse facilities are in great shape. Worth the 15 minute drive from 75.

Great Full Service park

This park is the preferred stopover on our trips to the Keys from ATL because it is very clean with newer clubhouse, pool, and other amenities. We were here in the summer but can't wait to come back when it gets cooler to sit by the humongous fire pit. Sites are roomy with trellises that offer a semi-private feel. Dog run is huge. When booking, make sure you ask for the rate of the time of your stay, not the time of your booking. We booked in Jan for a summer trip and got charged the higher winter rate.
