One of our favorites!
This is probably our most favorite Georgia SP. it has a nice lake-although the CG is not located on it. It has great cable tv ( a must for me during football season). There are about 10 sites with sewer but these are usually taken by the regulars. There is a nice golf course also for the golfers. The lodge has a restaurant with a seafood buffet on Friday nights and prime rib on Saturday night. It's also open for breakfast and lunch and you can order off the menu. The lodge is within walking distance from the CG. Love this park!
Very rustic
The CG at General Coffee is isolated away from the main section of the SP. There are a few farm animals and an old log cabin on the grounds for guests to tour. Another typical Georgia SP with nice wooded sites but not much else around.
*Water and electric only. No sewer hookups.
*Hiking.
*Horse trails (no stables provided).
*Canoe and Bicycle Rentals.
*Agricultural historical exhibits at on-site Heritage Farm.
*Kids can feed the farm animals.
*Exceptional for birding and nature photography.
*Note: The swimming pool is closed.
