Walk in camping.
If you have any questions about this place don't bother calling and try to get an answer, since you can't get anyone to call you back until 24 hrs later. And why have a camping host at the campground if they are never there. The way the walk in camping works is really not camper friendly. That is if you can even find out where you are going. Check at the office??? Forget that...since there's nobody there either. A map of the campground would be nice!! Wish we'd not gone out of our way to camp here. We were planning on staying 5 nights, but decided to leave.
Nice!
Large clean sites. All concrete. Full hook up. Boat launch. Includes 4 passes to resort water park. None of the sites overlook the lake, however, the rv park is lakeside. No bathroom/shower facilities.
Very nice. Would definitely stay there again.
There are several less expensive rv parks nearby: Buck Creek, Island View, Prairie... All very nice and on Lake Rathbun.
Big lake!
Very hilly spots some right on the edge of the water. Water was very high when we were there and we could take the boat right up to the edge of our camping spot to load everyone up. Lake is huge!
*Honey Creek is a new state park. View the park on youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4tRY6DNoUo
