How to Kill an RV Park

We have been using this park since 2004. In fact, we workamped one year. The campground was well known as a family friendly place. The wifi was fast and available anywhere in the park. The laundry and restrooms/showers were always spotless. There is now no cable TV and the wifi is weak. The game room is now a little meeting room and the original meeting room is now a bar. Patronage of the bar is not limited to campground residents; it is open to the public. It is so sad to see these changes for the worse in our opinion.

Good Stop Over

Big rig friendly; FHU; 30-50 amp; free cable; free wi-fi. Good Sam park - $34.00. Have been stopping here for years. Would stop again if in area.

Best of Our Trip

We drove across the US and I think this was the best of our trip. The sites are level and it is partially wooded with many of them along a lake (those with children take note of the water). The owner was great, the bathrooms were clean and warm during a cold snap in November. The WIFI service was snappy. The only downside is that part of the grounds are across from a not so scenic, but quiet, permanent mobile home park.

Great Place to Sit Out a Blizzard

On our way South, we originally intended to spend one night here, knowing that weather conditions might turn it into a two-night stay. Well, we endured a blizzard here, complete with white-outs! Our site was right next to the office/laundry/restrooms, thanks to Brian (the owner). This is a lovely park even in winter's howling winds and blowing snow. Thanks to Brian for looking after us and plowing the driveway clear on the day we left. We would love to return and see this park in the spring or fall!
