Not a KOA anymore
Ok for a one night stopover. Need a water pressure reducer.
Very tight sites
Small park and the pull thrus very tight. Barley walking distance between sites. Gravel site with tiny patio area with wooden picnic table. There is a train that runs behind park about 30 yards from the back of the park. Lots of long term stays.
Not here again!
Stayed here in a fifth wheel. Very small spaces. I wonder if this place was a former parking lot? Not impressed. Did I mention how close train tracks are? Never been so close to trains before. Kinda cool the first time you see how close they are, but coolness goes away at 3am, when it comes by again. The "dog walk" is not. It is an excess strip of grass for the dogs to do business on. Free wifi works. Did not have a cable hook up as brochure stated, had to run cable over to neighbors hook up, which was not an issue due to closeness. The pad is level. Great water pressure(85). Close to town. The staff although nice to talk to on phone, was more than happy to let you know of any infractions you might be breaking or appearing to possible going to break. RV dealer next door for any needed parts. Gas/Diesel pumps on property, thought that was cool. If you positively have to stay somewhere for a couple nights it's ok, but price is way too high! I recommend coming in at night, then the lack of maneuvering space does not seem so bad. Will stay at a WalMart parking lot if coming thru again.
REALLY!!!!
From the looks of all there rules and regulation you would think this is a fancy resort. Its FAR from it. There is a railroad track running 30 feet from our site. The trains are so loud and the stopping and starting shakes the ground. The staff are NOT VERY friendly and act like they don't want to be there. The RV park is a paved PARKING lot with the sites very close to your neighbors about 3 or 4 feet away. The only thing this place has going for it, is that its close to Louisville. They also do not have any discounts.
We will not stay here again. I have a hard time giving it one star.
It's a parking lot
If you want to visit Louisville and you are in an RV and you don't mind being close to your neighbors, this will do. However, it is a parking lot; that's it. The roads and sites are all paved. It does have a playground and a laundry. If you want a swimming pool, you can use the Holiday Inn pool up the street for $4. If you want cable TV, there is an additional charge, but wifi is free. Campfires are allowed only with processed wood (you know, those logs they sell in the grocery store) or charcoal. If you have jacks, you need to put 2"x8"x10" boards under them. A water regulator is recommended because the water comes out at 75 psi. It IS just across the bridge from Louisvile.
