Excellent park

I travel the country attempting to visit every National Park in the continental U.S. This is the best laid out park I have stayed in. Each site is relatively level with plenty of room to back in or to maneuver in the pull-thru sites. Each site is full hook-up and the entire RV park is very neat and clean. There is a hot tub and pool table and a 1/4 mile walking loop. The staff, Nancy, is a bonus...very friendly and helpful.

A welcome stay on the open plains

This park is a very welcome sight on the otherwise open, flat plains of Kansas.
Like the rest of Kansas this park is open, windy, and treeless. The road off the highway is severely washboard. I hope they have it graded by now. The park is new all buildings are fresh and new and look it. Trees will be coming. There are grass lawns surrounding the park and buildings.
The sites are long and level; we did not unhook our tow. All sites and roads are gravel. The sites are full hook up and very conveniently located. The park is clean and neat and obviously well maintained. This is a park for a short stay. There are no special amenities or entertainment. But it is safe, secure stay and well lit.
The bathrooms are clean and very big. Permanents are located on the park perimeter and are very tidy.
The owner/manager works in town and arrives back at the park around 4:00 to open the office. If you arrive before, just pick a spot. There are workkampers on the grounds and will help you with any info you need, e.g. bathroom codes. Once the office is open you can register. It is all very informal. The office and its decor is beautiful in a Western theme and the furniture very comfy for just visiting.
There is an unusual walking loop, about a 1/4 mi, that is paved and lit with light posts and decorated with plains themed statuary and avant-garde pieces. It was fun to walk and look.
This park is a work in progress, and right from the owners heart. It is a good place to stop, we'll be back.

Horrible stay

We stayed here for 2 months with our family. My husband is a union welder and we travel 12 months a year all across the US. This park is not family friendly. The Owner seems to have a real dislike for children. The WiFi never worked. She really had a problem whenever we would socialize with the other campers outside of ou trailer, I.e. grilling out and visiting with a group. We never were out late past quiet time and never got unruly. As long as we stayed inside and kept our children inside, she was good. Seems to be a very miserable person.
