Clean, Quiet, Convenient
This is a family owned campground that is very well maintained and very quiet especially in the evenings. All gravel sites separated by well mowed grassy areas. Space between sites is adequate but not spacious. The park is all pull-through sites in the middle with back-in sites along the perimeter. Most of the sites are full-hook up and fairly level. The park is close to all of the caves in the local area and only about 2 miles from the entrance to Mammoth Cave NP. Additionally the Lincoln birthplace and Lincoln boyhood home locations are less than one hours drive to the north and well worth the trip.
Wifi signal worked well most of the time, all of the major television networks are available with your over-the-air antenna, and most of the sites have minimal tree coverage so satellite television works very well on most sties.
This is not a fancy over-priced park that is full of amenities you won't use. But if you want a clean, quiet, full-hook up site and good wifi signal in a convenient location it fits the description. We stayed here 4 nights in a travel trailer and would stay again. Daily rate reflects Good Sam discount.
