What happened?? New owners or management??
We have stayed here many times before. They have recently increased the nightly rate. ($12 more for pull-thru vs back-in) There have been improvements made to the office but our site was as far away from the office/restrooms as possible even when asking for close to office or bath house. Many campers were in this far-away area, I assume since the rate is less. Park was not near capacity. Site was fairly level. Other than the entry grass area, sites were weeds. Very disappointed with this visit. Close to friends we were visiting so will probably stay here again.
MUDDY PARK!
Wouldn't stay there again due to muddy site.
Mixed Results
This park is easy to access off I65 and was very scenic in its day. Campground layout is vey good & convenient for overnite or short stays.
We experienced a lack of flexibility when the camp was 25% full (with a reservation in advance) but finally stayed in an acceptable site. A little tired & a little pricey but adequate if you need to stop here.
