Island stay

We loved our stay here! Really nice owners and other campers were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back and hope to make this r.v. park a regular stay for us.

Feels like home...

You really can't explain Grand Isle in a review... And you definitely can't express how beautifully Island House Rv Park fits in to the feel and existence that is Grand Isle.
I was greeted by Lanny, and he immediately made me feel welcome and drove my dog and I around the island and showed me where everything was and gave me all the interesting history and answered my million questions. He and Michelle really love this little island and it's infectious! More nights than not, they would make a bonfire and we would all sit around and laugh and tell stories.
Its not a super fancy Rv park, but its very clean, and has everything you could hope for and if you need something they don't have, they get it. Lanny even rerouted the sewer lines for me when I got there so that it fit my trailer better!
I was only suppose to stay 4 days... I stayed two weeks. I fell in love with Grand Isle, and Lanny and Michelle played cupid.

Best RV Park Around

We stay here every weekend in the summer with my parents, Aunt and Uncle, and other friends. When you're at this park you get the feel like everyone is family. It's not a giant park but Grand Isle isn't a giant place. You will have a awesome time staying at Island House and meet some of the best people you'll ever meet. I can't wait till Memorial Day to get back in the grove with my summer family.

Best park on Grand Isle

We stayed here in February for a few days and this is the best park on Grand Isle. Mind you, Grand Isle is almost like a different country, so don't be expecting outrageous large RV parks like some places in Arizona, but if you want to have a fabulous beach and like a bohemian feel to the community, this is THE place to be in Louisiana. The park is basic, but better than any other on the island. Onsite laundry is a rarity and they have it. Not to mention walking distance to the grocery and the small store in the gas station that also makes fabulous pizza. There's also a few bars and restaurants nearby. When busy season hits, walking to these places is gold!
