Any pet brought in to a State Park must be on a leash (not to exceed 5 feet in length), or caged or crated. Pets are not allowed inside any park buildings, including cabins and lodges. Only seeing-eye dogs are permitted in overnight facilities or near swimming areas. Pet owners are responsible for any injury or damage caused by their pets. Dogs and other pets are not allowed to run freely on park property. Service dogs are allowed in cabins at Louisiana State Parks. Just notify the Call Center that you will be bringing a service dog and let them know what breed of dog.Showing reviews by date
Nice quiet park...

We stayed in the loop just as you enter the park and those spots are very tight and challenging to get in and out of. Nice boardwalk for fishing on the Tchefuncte River if you do not have a boat. Boat launch on site. Nice playground with new play equipment for children. Sites are close together in the 1st loop, which appears to be the original loop. The 2nd loop is closer to the river but less shade. All roads are paved and spots are paved w/picnic table, fire ring and bbq pit.
