Stay Away!!!
I pulled up at 9 PM with my wife and 2 daughters. Read the board and drove to a spot. A man came over who reeked of alcohol and asked me if I paid. I said no I want to use a credit card. He said no cards cash or check and he wants me to pay tonight and walks away. I walk to the box fill out the form and drop my $30 in. He comes back and asked what's going on an why my family is still in the truck. I advise him my girls are watching a movie and my wife is on the phone. Then he tells me " What part of come to the office did you not understand." RUDE! Then I tell him I already paid the money is in the box. He still wants me to go to the office. As we are walking I tell him I've been traveling all over the U.S. and never had to do this. He then says "Are you for this country" RUDE! I tell him I am and I'm a Marine. He sarcastically says "Well Thank You For Your Service" I took my money and left.

Nice park nothing special, but one I'd stay at for a few days. Very nice owners! Great view of a large pond. Easy on and off, when you get off I-49 it's across the street from truck stop(not a named brand truck stop). I drove past the park and had to found a turn around at Fire dept. Small sign on left. We stayed in a 38foot 5th wheel, GMC dully 3500. Big rig friendly. Good Sam park with discount $26..
Great rustic park.
This is a quiet little rustic park. The sites are grass over gravel, semi-level with great views of the stocked fishing pond and surrounding woods. Be careful with the sites as some of the hook ups are uphill. We stayed here once for a long weekend to explore Natchitoches and another couple times as a one night stop overs. The owners are very nice and have been known to cook for their camping guests. We enjoyed a bowl of homemade bean soup on one of our visits. The restrooms are adequate, small but clean. There is a laundry room but that is it as far as amenities. There is a fantastic crawfish shack across the road where you can get veggies in season, crawfish in season, breakfast and firewood. We camped in a fifth wheel and would camp there again. It is a Passport of America campground, very reasonable price.
