New roads and pads
The roads and pads seem really new. They are mostly flat. Lots of nice spots right on the lake, an oxbow lake close to the Mississippi. Nice dock for sitting and looking and fishing. Lots of cypress trees ringing the shore.
Site has table, fire ring, water and electric, although the water connection is on the side opposite the electric and near the front of the campsite.
Bathhouse is great! Showers are very nice and very clean. Water is hot; in fact, there is a warning that the water is hot and to be careful. We'll definitely stay here again!
The rate is $18 a night, but there is a $6 transaction fee. Explain that one to me!
