Crockery Creek

This RV Park is under new ownership, as of the last 2 years. I don't know what the park was like before but I think this park will eventually be a 4/5 star park.

There is a welcome station as you enter. The park is gated, although they didn't use it and it's not really needed. There are these festive Palm trees (fake of course) that light up at night at the entrance. It is in a beautiful setting. It sits on a creek and has a gazebo. The office/store has a variety of supplies. It has clean facilities, laundry, bathhouse, and a banquet hall. The park also has a pond that appears treated for swimming and a little beach area. Additionally, the park boasts a pool, sand volleyball court, and the nicest basketball court I've found at any park. Plus, the park is huge!

The interior roads and sites are gravel. The sites are very spacious and long. The only problem is that the utilities at some of the sites are unusually far away from the site. We had our rig backed up all the way to the back of the site. We couldn't park in the center of the site; rather we had to park as far to the edge of the side where the utilities were. Our electrical cord barely reached and we ended up buying some sewer extensions from one of the work campers. The guy had just bought them and was very nice to offer them to us. The park didn't have cable or wifi. They also did not give us any instructions, such as trash pick-up, no brochure, and they did not escort us to our site. However, they did drive us around in the golf cart to pick our site.

There were quite a few RVs that were there for the long haul, but they had well maintained RVs and sites. Some of the sites had concrete pads and patios. Those sites were random and appeared to be the sites of long term residents. All sites had fire pits. The park certainly was popular over the weekend with the locals. We were in the area to visit family/friends. It was conveniently located for us. The rate was reasonable. We were well pleased with Crockery Creek and will stay here whenever visiting the area.
