Convenient but pricey

Very convenient to all that Voyageurs NP offers in the immediate area, it's located only one mile from the nearby Visitor's Center. The sites are adjacent to another RV park but with a tall wooden fence between the two campgrounds; the other park isn't as nice but there wasn't any noise or bother with it being so close. The sites here are close together, all gravel, all back-in, each has a picnic table and full hookups. For anyone visiting without their own RV there are several very nice appearing cabins available to rent; they're in the same general area as the RV park and convenient to all of the same facilities.

There aren't any over-the-air television channels available, but satellite television worked well and should do so at each of the sites. Best to confirm that when making your reservation. The wifi service is included and it worked very well the entire three days that we stayed. Cell service is spotty because of the remote location. The park itself is very clean, grass was mowed, and no trash blowing around either.

There aren't many choices in the immediate area, and most of them have only a few spaces for RV's. They're more like small motels that have a very small number of RV pads available and those tend to sell out quickly. While this place is nicely planned out and has a great view of the lake from the dock, the RV sites are not located directly on the lake but instead have a view from the RV driver's side of the lake. We felt for the price we paid there should have been more amenities, larger sites, better lake view, etc. I would expect to pay closer to $40 per night for the space I occupied and the amenities that I received.
