Love coming here. Have been for many years and plan to continue. The price increase hurt a lot. Can understand an increase to keep up with expenses, but it was such a huge one at one time, it hurts the pocket book. Enjoy coming here and having a place to sit back and relax at.
Good place to camp at
Although one person posted a very bad review, I have to say pretty much the opposite.
We understand the situation from 2014, and it was because tenters were using electricity and were not paying for it, and were repeatedly told to stop accessing the power, which they refused to listen. That does make a big difference in the situation.
There has been some times of some not-so-pleasant encounters from a particular person tending the campground, basically because of having to leave early, because of inclement weather forcasted. But in general that is not so. These hosts have been good ones, compared to the last few that have tended to the place (or not so much), and do a lot more around there.
We love coming to this campground. It is a good place, nice areas to camp in, and enjoy our time there. A lake to cool off in, a pier to fish off of if you want to fish, and spot for canoes or paddle boats to drop off into the water. It is a very nice setting.
It would be great to see more sites get added, that could bring in more business yet, and more sites with complete full hook ups.
Bad host
I have been going to this lake for forty years..this year the host was rude,and the service was terriable. I will never camp there again nor will the other 10 people that also pitched tents
