Osage Beach RV Park

Past its' prime

A terrific location close to many lake activities but disappointing on other levels. The sites are quite unlevel in many places, and extremely close together. These are all gravel sites that become quite muddy if there is any rain. Our site was quite flooded and muddy near our entrance door; my advice to the owners....take some of the money that you are making on reservations and invest in spreading out some additional gravel throughout the entire RV Park.

Many sites offer shade while others are full sun. The grass was not kept cut to an acceptable level; after it was cut on our last day at the park very little trimming was done so that high grass and weeds were still remaining throughout most of the park. This might seem petty to some but with summertime high temperatures and humid conditions, numerous bugs are inevitable in the park. The bathrooms were kept very clean and the laundry has plenty of machines with very competitive rates. In the rear of the park there are numerous seasonal sites; not really a problem because most are well kept.

There are some sites where satellite reception can be used. No rooftop antenna channels were available but the park offers cable tv; however it's a very limited channel lineup of about 25 channels and does not match the channel lineup posted on their website. When there is rain it will not be watchable because the channels come from the RV park's satellite antenna. The wifi service is not only limited to mostly the office area and very slow, but the park restricts access to only one device per site.

We stayed here in a travel trailer for 5 nights. We would not stay here again with so many other RV park options in the lake area with many of those being newer parks with improved amenities and infrastructure.
