Not a Resort

There is nothing about this campground that would make you think it is a resort; I'm sorry but having a swimming pool does not count. It's walking distance to the beach and several restaurants, conveniently located to much of the local Biloxi area. Sites are really narrow and while the campground roads are paved the sites are not. They are a mixture of gravel and mostly dirt with a nearby concrete slab with picnic table. If there is a big rain your site could be muddy.

Many sites have trees but we were able to just satellite reception with no problem. For the major networks we wanted to use their cable box (included in your rate) but couldn't get it to operate properly; no problem though because all of the major networks are available with a roof-top antenna. Wifi works well most of the time, but of course slows down during the evening hours with heavy usage. Most every site has an awkwardly placed sewer connection in the very back of the site, and you'll probably need a sewer extension along with your regular sewer hose to reach. Not a problem if you're prepared.

Several year-round residents. Tent camping is also allowed and quite popular. Pretty large laundry room. Did not use the bathrooms and/or showers but it seems to be in working order. And the above mentioned swimming pool was very clean and well maintained. All in all it isn't an awful place by any means but definitely is not a resort. We stayed here 7 nights in a travel trailer and would stay again.

Very friendly

I think it really makes the a huge difference when people care for their customers. From the time we pulled in we felt very welcomed. It started raining and the owner came to the RV and picked up my propane tanks and filled them and brought them back. bathrooms and showers area were clean. Had no issue pulling in and parking my 40 footer. all around nice park for the price and location. Very safe location!
