Late Night Parties
They allow late night parties to go on until 12-12:30 at night at their club house which are next to the nightly sites which are located in a parking lot all lined up together. Drunks fighting in the parking lot and garbage cans at the nightly spots never emptied unless we complain.
We won't be back. No respect for their nightly patrons.
They do not provide Wi-Fi or cable but they do have a beautiful beach. Their boat dock is ok but their boardwalk is old and unsafe. I just believe if they are going to have late night parties like that. They should have better spots for travelers away from the club house.
Lake Hickory RV
Lake Hickory RV Park is a fairly large park, situated on a man-made lake created in 1929 by damming up the near-by river. Rather hilly park, but most of transient sites are very level. Most sites are permanent or very long-term sites, some apparently used as summer cabins. Emphasis on water sports and activities. Full service except cable, but air antenna reception readily available if trees block roof satellite antenna. Spacious gravel sites & patios; quiet and peaceful during our stay.
One night stay
Beautiful lake where seasonal trailers were "permanently" hooked up. We stayed one night with a 21' Class C RV. Showers were large with attached dressing room. Trailers were VERY close to each other with not a tree in sight. We were charged with $10 to dump. Sandy was very helpful and drove her golf cart to our site and let us borrow a 50 to 30 amp plug. We would stay again.
