If you want to visit Fargo, this is a very convenient campground. However, the sites are pretty narrow, just room for a picnic table between them. It is close to the interstate; you can see the cars whizzing by. The lower campground was flooded until August this year and still was not back in operation when we were there. The shower house is new and clean but they scrimped on the showers. There is a large, spacious handicapped shower. Race for that one because the other two are narrow, have only 2 hooks to store things on. 1 does have a shelf that protrudes 2/3 of the way into the space, but that means you have to stand sideways all the time you are using it.
There is a huge playground close to the campground and you can rent a variety of bikes to explore the area. Electric and water at each site.

Nice Riverfront Sites in Clean City Park

This "city park" campground more than met our expectations. Yes, there is freeway noise, but if you ask for the LOWER campground along the river, it's not so bad. Sites down below are much longer than ones up top. Yes, it floods here in June, so don't come then. But we practically had the whole place to ourselves in July. The space between sites is wide and grassy, and there's lots of walking trails, and shopping all within 5 minutes. A great place to stay despite the fact that the river isn't swimable and it was really hot here!
