Traveler Reviews
Looks nice, but lots of problems
This campground looks great. There are lots of trees, but also sunny sites. We watched cows nursing their babies in the pasture, and you can buy farm-fresh eggs at the campground store. So why the low rating? (1) The electricity fluctuated. It spikes up and down. First you'll have 120 volts. A few hours later it'll drop to less than 110. (2) The water pressure also fluctuates. You'll have good pressure, then in the middle of your shower it slows down. (3) Ants, lots of them, invading our RV. This problem probably could have been alleviated somewhat if they cut the grass more often. It was over my ankles. (4) The trash cans were overflowing. Apparently, it is picked up on Fridays. Which means that the trash generated by the many weekenders sits there for a full week.
