Folks, If you are looking for a winter getaway, I really recommend this quiet, friendly spot just a short drive from Deming, New Mexico. I had fun exploring several interesting places nearby (like Silver City, and City of Rocks State Park). But I also enjoyed just hanging out at the “Temperate Zone”. You can’t beat the good-natured hospitality of Vicki and James, park owners, who made me feel right at home. Most of all I loved the peace and beauty of this oasis in the desert.

If you don't like to be packed in an RV Park like sardines, this is the place for you. TZ has large pull thru level sites. Also they just put in some corrals to accomidate folks traveling with their horses.
The RV Park is not right Deming city, but they are just 15 minutes away.
